Northeast Dairy Compact Commission
Important Dates
All Handlers should be aware the
Pricing Regulations contain the following important date changes:

The 23rd Day of the Preceding Month.
Compact
Commission announces the Class I Over-order Price and Compact Over-order
Obligation for the following month. (Section 1305.2)
Reports
of Receipts and Utilization are due for the preceding
month. (Section
1303.1)

On or before the 13th Day of the Month
Compact
Commission announces the Over-order Producer
Price (Section 1306.4)
Compact
Commission issues a Statement to each Handler.
(Section 1307.2)
Each
Handler shall report Producer Additions and Withdrawals, and Changes in
Farm location and name of Farm. (Section 1303 (a))
Each
Handler shall make payment to the Compact Commission their Producer Settlement
Debt. (Section 1307.3 (a))
Each
handler shall make payment to the Compact Commission the expense of Administration.
(Section 1308.1)
Unpaid
balances in the Producer-Settlement Fund shall be increased 1%. (Section
1307.8)
Compact
Commission shall make payment to each Handler with a Producer-Settlement
fund credit. (Section 1307.3 (b))
17th
Day of the Month
Handlers
shall make payments to Producers. (Section 1307.4)
If any of these days lands on a Saturday, Sunday
or national holiday, the action is required on the next business day that
the Compact office is open
